Aburi's botanical gardens provided the perfect canvas for our photographers to practice and hone their skills. As part of our "Back to the Basics" series, the focus was on harnessing natural light, understanding composition, and telling stories through the lens without relying heavily on post-editing techniques. We embarked on an inspiring journey joined by the renowned creative expert, FocusnBlur, whose expertise brought a new dimension to our event
Having FocusnBlur, a prominent figure in the creative industry, as our guest expert was an incredible highlight. Known for his unique ability to blend technical skill with artistic vision, he led a masterclass that challenged participants to think differently about their creative process. FocusnBlur shared insights on how to capture the essence of a scene and encouraged participants to focus on the story behind each photograph.
His approachable style and willingness to engage with everyone made the experience both educational and inspiring. He demonstrated techniques that emphasized simplicity and clarity, reminding everyone that sometimes less is more when it comes to powerful imagery.
Beyond the technical knowledge gained, this photo walk emphasized the importance of community among creatives. Participants had the chance to connect, share experiences, and collaborate on future projects with other creatives. We saw novice photographers finding experienced creatives gaining fresh perspectives. This sense of supportive and collaborative atmosphere that participants experience as they connect and create together is at the heart of our photo walk series, reinforcing the idea that creativity flourishes best in community.
